Responsible for the engineering project management of a number of varying driveline systems/products including, but not limited to AWD/4WD systems, Translates project requirements into project objectives and tasks. Manages activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. 1. Lead cross-functional teams through a series of key milestones on multiple projects.2. Develop a resource plan, with buy-in from multiple engineering disciplines and align appropriate talent to support activities required to successfully complete the project.3. Coordinate the efforts of the functional departments to ensure that the projects are managed in accordance with established policies and procedures.4. Working directly with customers and internal teams to determine project timelines as well as any potential delays and initiate plans for alternative actions.5. Work with the customer to understand timing goals, define customer requirements, and manage tasks to achieve customer deliverables/specifications.6. Responsible for tracking and managing all project changes, developing project presentations, advising management of project status, and managing and reporting all project costs. 7. Supports and implements policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management system.

Provide program management for customer programs, focusing on (1) the oversight of product launches, (2) cost containment, avoidance and reduction throughout a product's life cycle and (3) a comprehensive communications effort. • Serve as program owner, accountable for the execution and success of the program.• Document program scope and customer deliverables to ensure that customer expectations for quality, timing and product performance are met.• Manage assigned resources (purchased material, engineering development, capital investment, launch costs, contract provisions) to minimize total program costs and maximize expected return.• Identify risk factors and seek to mitigate adverse impact.• Lead and manage team environment through all program phases / gate points with emphasis on synergy, development and empowerment to ensure collaboration, team unity and team success.• Conduct frequent Team meetings and regularly report program status to upper management.

* Establish a local engineering group which is fully integrated into our global systems via the following training of local engineering personnel: o Product knowledge o Product development process including change management o Customer requirements management o Problem solving o Vehicle validation o Engineering quality systems * Responsibilities include the development of the local Applications and Product Engineering capabilities to support the growing demand for Electric Drive Transmissions and AWD products and customer support for emerging technologies (eGear Drive and Active AWD) in China * Oversee day to day activities for the local System Integration Engineering team * Responsible for customer AWD/4WD programs in Asia * Responsible for customer eGear Drive programs for electric vehicles in China * Key Customer Interface – o Define control module hardware and software requirements o Development vehicle integration support o Document conformance to requirements through in-vehicle validation testing o In-vehicle trouble shooting throughout development and production phases o Track and resolve development and warranty issues * Served as the liaison between the BorgWarner technical center and customers

* ECU Project planning * ECU requirements definition * Manage design, development, calibration, integration and validation * Document and verify compliance to customer requirements * Coordinate and facilitate weekly stakeholders meetings for each program * Track and Communicate program status to management * Manage ECU supplier development

* Design responsible products: DC brush type motors, electromagnetic coils, speed sensors, position switch, wire harnesses and connectors. * Create and maintain Design and Validation Specifications * Create and maintain component engineering drawings * Manage supplier requests for design/process changes

* Serve as quality liaison between NAO Car Group assembly plants and metal fabrication/power train facilities * Investigate and assist in solving quality issues * Coach suppliers on General Motors quality procedures * Facilitate data interpretation with assembly plants and suppliers * Facilitate controlled shipping issues between assembly plants and suppliers * Coordinate and facilitate meetings pertaining to quality issues * Periodically review supplier quality and manufacturing processes * Periodically attend supplier quality reviews and audits

* Write,track,resolve and close QBC’s, PRR’s and engineering permits\deviations for launch related engineering or assembly issues * Work with supplier quality and suppliers to resolve part quality issues * Provide communication link between plant, supplier and engineering departments * Initiate, coordinate and implement part reworks, sorts, containment and repair * Provide problem solving assistance for manufacturing concerns requiring root cause definition/resolution * Coordinate engineering change implementation through pilot/launch
