Over 30 years broad based experience in the health care industry with a specific focus on health care information technologies and management. Rresponsibilities include developing and administering the security and compliance program for Baylor’s information technology environment to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, policies, standards and industry best practice pertaining to patient care, research, academic and administration processes and information resources.Immediate focus is information technology security and governance, HIPAA , FISMA, and associated regulatory compliance, as well as various strategic collaborative initiatives with Baylor’s affiliated institutions.
