I served as a leader in the Endorsed Local Provider business unit. As the technology leader, my responsibility was to translate the overall business strategy into a vision and strategy for our technology team and then carry out that strategy. That included building and mentoring multiple teams, developing roadmaps and ensuring the implementation of that strategy. Here are some of the project highlights:* Architected, designed and oversaw the rebuild of an outdated referral system into a robust Referral Submission Platform. Replaced existing functionality with a system built around multiple REST Web Services using Java and Spring. Along the way we added new functionality to make it a better system that could be used by other departments in the company.* Led a team through the process of rebuilding the technology to support a major shift in a business line. We built a brand new system to handle the changes within 2 months on a very aggressive schedule. This involved a new Ruby on Rails administration application, major changes to another Ruby on Rails and javascript application as well as changes to multiple Java services. This project launched on time helped save a $15 million dollar business line.* Led a team to create a new Territory Management system to handle very complex scenarios. This involved designing and implementing a new flexible data model, building a Ruby on Rails application to handle administration as well as migrating data from an older system. This allowed the business to be more efficient and identify opportunities for revenue growth.* Oversaw the implementation of Salesforce Lightning for an outbound sales team. I was critical in identifying the need for the system, selling the idea to C-suite executives, gathering requirements, designing the system, hiring a team to implement and overseeing the implementation and connection into the rest of our system.

I partner with the ELP business unit to ensure that technology is used in the best possible way to make the business successful. This includes leading a team that develops custom web applications and RESTful web services as well as integrating with third party tools. My responsibilities include idea generation, requirements gathering, resource planning, architecture and application design and quality management for multiple applications.
