Jeff Prostok specializes in business reorganizations and workouts, bankruptcy litigation, debtor / creditor rights, refinancing and acquisition.He has led the firm’s representations in major Chapter 11 debtor cases, including Texas Rangers Baseball, Total Diagnostix Labs, Acis Capital Management, LP, Majestic Liquors, Heartland Automotive, Shannon Gracey, Falcon Steel, Cathedral Rock, et al., and many others, including Mirant Energy, one of the largest bankruptcies ever filed in Texas.Mr. Prostok served as co-counsel for an Ad Hoc group of bondholders with claims exceeding $700 million in the Vitro S.A.B. bankruptcy case, successfully preventing Vitro from enforcing its Mexican concurso plan in the United States, allowing important subsidiary guaranties to be preserved domestically.Mr. Prostok is a member of the Bankruptcy Sections of the Dallas and Tarrant County Bar Associations, having served as president, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He has written and spoken about bankruptcy issues for several CLE programs sponsored by various organizations including the State Bar of Texas and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
