The JP Warriors Post Graduate boarding program brings young men from all over the country to Charlotte NC for a semester of college preparation. Since 2010 JP has assisted hundreds of young men with building stronger college qualifications; in the classroom, with life skills, and on the field. Students who apply to JP are looking for an alternative to the 1 or 2 year venture of a walk on or enrollment to a 2 year institution or Junior College. Our goals include improved college retention by helping young men develop the skills necessary to be a successful college student while pursuing their dreams of playing football after high school. Our strict rigorous daily schedule along with increased expectations have proven results for many student athletes. Our Alumni list continues to grow annually of young men who received opportunities to continue their football careers after they arrived at JP with no active opportunities after high school. This is a testament in itself on the value of a PG semester. ACADEMICSThe JP Warriors football program focuses on NCAA academic qualifications. Our SACS accredited curriculum and Test Prep have turn many NCAA non qualifiers into NCAA qualifiers. Most of our students need something academically to meet the NCAA academic requirements. However, we have a small percentage of students who are strong qualifiers. Theses students typically attempt to improve test scores. ATHLETICSThe athletic department introduces students to a collegiate level athletic program designed to push the students to their limits. Students have weekly workouts in the gym to continue their physical development. While competing against D-1, D-2, and D-3 JV programs.
