• Create and document injection molding processes and program part-removal robots to achieve the fastest possible cycle time while still producing a quality part• Troubleshoot and countermeasure part quality issues due to tooling, machine or materials • Work with manufacturing, maintenance and T&D shop to help reduce scrap and machine down time due to tooling or mechanical issues• Maintain good working relationship with equipment manufacturers to troubleshoot and upgrade existing equipment and order/install new equipment• Perform and document trials for new/lower cost materials, coordinating with the resin manufacturer for color matching and carrying out functional trials on location at customers manufacturing facility• Worked with design engineers and toolmakers to ensure tooling capable of producing quality, properly dimensioned parts, issuing countermeasure sheets for quality issues and tracking the changes made to achieve these goals. • Responsible for work flow, line balance and headcount reduction for assigned areas.
