We jointly vet and employ technologies best suited to improve imaging and understanding of reserves to be developed in a cost effective manner.Career: 49 years working in exploration and development of oil & gas resources, both domestic and international, for 6 companies (Amoco, Champlin, May Petroleum, Benton Oil and Gas Company, Sigma Energy Ventures, Prospectiuni, SA).During the last 11 years I have assisted oil companies in their re-assessment of reserves in onshore oil fields of Kern, Santa Barbara and San Benito Counties, California, utilizing legacy well, production, and 3D seismic. From 2010 to 2013, I worked with geoscience teams that assessed technologies, projects & business opportunity potentials for Prospectiuni and its client's. Prospectiuni routinely designed & QC'd acquisition & processing of satellite, surface geological, geochemical, resistivity, magnetic, MT, gravity, & seismic surveys for clients. Earlier in my career I was involved in several oil equity investment programs. Diverse risk/reward positions were earned in field reactivation and exploration activities with such companies as Atlantic, Sun, Texaco, PDVSA, Geoilbent, Severneftegaz, Petrosen and CNOOC.During my career, I have designed, managed and interpreted 2D and/or 3D seismic programs in Georgia & Romania, Eastern Europe; Urengoy, Siberia; Senegal, West Africa; South China Sea, People’s Republic of China; and South Monagas Unit, Venezuela. My domestic experience included urban and rural seismic surveys in Sacramento Basin of California, Uintah Basin of Utah, onshore Gulf Coast of Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.Memberships:A member of the AAPG and SEG Foundations, the AAPG, SEG, professional societies and other various social organizations.Education:Graduated with a B.A. cum laude, Geology from Vanderbilt University, in 1975.
