As part of PolyOne's overall Sustainability initiative, our volunteer committee is charged with reducing the landfill stream by 10% every year at the corporate headquarters location. We have met or exceeded that goal for the past 5 years by working with local agencies to implement innovative recycling measures, providing education and incentives for employees to engage in making PolyOne a greener, more sustainable company. We also work with local schools to educate students in recycling and green technologies both in industry and at home.My role as Chair of this committee is in coordinating activity, setting measurable annual goals for projects, recruiting membership, and reporting results to leaders in our Environmental department.

Developed automation software for a GE 4010, a MODCOMP Classic, a DEC PDP-8 with a paper-tape reader, and a DEC DYS-50. Supported L&N Max1 and Allen Bradley Data Highway interfaces.Update: I was recently tipped off that Caster software I developed in the 1980's is still being run actively as of July 2012!Update: It was finally decommissioned in 2014.
