A professional communicator with 40+ years of demonstrated experience and excellence-evidenced by nine Emmy awards for his work in television news, meteorology and producing/writing science documentaries and his selection to the Washington State Broadcasters' Hall of Fame. He has applied his journalism skills to work on television, radio, print and on line information sources.Jeff also has more than thirty years' experience assisting legal professionals as an expert witness in local, county and federal court settings. The analytical skills and ability to explain complex issues in an understandable and interesting manner that have made his services sought after in the legal arena, have also made him an in-demand speaker and writer. Jeff has shared his story-telling and communication abilities with hundreds of groups, ranging from companies, associations, the military, universities and other educational institutions. He combines these attributes with excellent people skills and a knack for crafting his message to the particular needs of each group.More recently, Jeff has applied those same analytical and communication skills to writing about current climate and environmental issues for a variety of print and on line publications. His assignments have ranged from unraveling details and explaining the nuances of climate and environmental issues, paired with the perspectives gained as a practicing Meteorologist. His commitment for understanding and compelling story-telling led him into the field, exploring the craters of active volcanoes, and coming face-to face with some of the largest predators in the ocean and on land. Respect for Jeff's work has led to invitations to the White House for a one-on-one Presidential Interview and to the Vatican.Jeff holds degrees in the Atmospheric Sciences from University of Washington and in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He lives in Sammamish, Washington-a suburb of Seattle-with his wife Sue and their Siberian Husky.
