Running carpenter crews on various projects in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. Work involving; demountable wall installation, millwork, finish carpentry, doors and hardware, solid surface, fixtures and systems furniture installation. Supervising these projects from start to finish. Responsible for managing large and small crews, quality control of the work, finding solutions to the many unforeseen issues inherent in construction, and the logistics involved in seeing the job through to scheduled completion, while remaining profitable. Coordinating with the many parties involved in these projects such as; Project Managers, Designers, Engineers, General Contractors, Facilities Managers, representatives of the numerous other trades on site. Most importantly, meeting with the end user, the occupant of the space, and their employees to ensure they are satisfied with the finished product.

Carpenter on U.S. Bank Stadium project in Minneapolis MN from beginning to end. This project totaled $1.1 billion when completed. I worked on everything from footings to the final installation of furniture in the luxury suites. Structural Concrete Formwork on walls, columns, and footings. Use of Gang forms, Meva forms, Symons forms, Efco shoring, and regular hand forming with wood. Construction of prefabricated panels for roof and snow catchment. Construction of concrete staircases and Stadia steps. Slab on grade formwork. Erection and dismantling of scaffolding. Use of swing stage scaffolds. Construction of temporary poly enclosures. Reading blueprints and layout.

Formwork and pouring concrete on all parts of bridges, dams, and other large structures. Use of Symons forms, Efco forms and wood forms. Erection of suspended scaffolding on bridges and use of aerial lifts. Reading blueprints and layout. Installation and welding of Expansion Joints and other bridge components. Layout and formwork on Approach Panels. Layout and installation of steel reinforcement in Approach Panels/Bridge decks. Layout and Formwork on Endposts/Rails. Underground experience on Rondo and St. Anthony Storm Tunnel projects in St. Paul MN doing Formwork and installation of reinforcing steel bands. Operation of heavy equipment and driving trucks.

Carpenter on new 35W St. Anthony Falls River Crossing bridge project in Minneapolis MN. This was a $234 million project that ran 24 hours-a-day and 7 days-a-week on an extremely accelerated schedule due to the 35W bridge collapse. My responsibilities included reading blueprints. Layout and installation of post tensioning components in precast bridge segments. Erection of precast bridge segments. Use of Efco forms.
