I am a commercially focused General Counsel and Secretary with strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities, who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment, and has extensive experience in complex commercial negotiations, infrastructure development projects, regulatory compliance, and acquisitions and divestitures. In June 2024, Easton Energy, the company I was general counsel for, closed on the sale of its business to ONEOK. After accepting a package as part of the sale, I am actively looking for my next role. With over twenty-five years of experience as a corporate generalist, I specialize in commercial transactions and project development agreements. I have over a dozen years of experience managing attorneys and paralegals and have served in corporate senior management roles as a General Counsel or Vice President for eleven years. My background spans various energy industry segments, including natural gas, refined products, NGLs, petrochemicals, and brine pipelines and storage. I am eager to continue in the midstream industry or to broaden my experience further. My primary areas of focus include commercial transactions and infrastructure agreements, law department management, regulatory and corporate policy compliance, and acquisitions and divestitures. Additionally, I have considerable experience in right-of-way and land matters, corporate governance, litigation management, HR matters, and construction and operations issues. In addition to my law degree, I have a Master of Arts in English. I particularly enjoy negotiating, drafting, and editing complex legal transactions.
