    Developed a soft, nearly touch-sensitive fabric USB keyboard. This was necessary to relieve the chronic pain in my hands from typing. There was no ergonomic keyboard on the market soft enough for my hands, so I needed to make my own. I now use this keyboard while at work.Designed and built the keyboard. Wrote firmware to implement a standard USB keyboard in embedded C on a PIC microcontroller. Designed, etched, and wired the PCBs. Built and programmed the g-code for a CNC system to cut custom foam pads.Continued to update the design while working at StreamSend. The current unit is a hybrid system with 3D-printed plastic parts supporting fabric.
