Delivered multiple high visibility internal Strategy and Analytics consulting projects for the primary Rx department at CVS Health. Increased margin on generic drugs by $25M over a two year internal consulting project with the CVS wholesale operations team. Partnered with this operational team to redefine their strategy, focusing on bottom-line impacts. Wrote multiple data analytics packages in Python that enabled the detection, identification, and root cause analysis of service level disruptions in the generic drug supply chain network. Wrote and operationalized an automated supply chain disruption tracking system and process that enabled CVS to track service level issues through time, increasing CVS leverage over its suppliers. Reprioritized the team’s supply chain issue resolution to focus on high margin impact items, resulting in steady increases in margins on generic drugs by realigning suppliers’ incentives to match CVS strategic goals.Automated a service level adjustment process resulting in an immediate $7M payment from suppliers to CVS. Partnered with the CVS Rx returns operations team to assist in the critical transition period following the acquisition of our 3PL company, resulting in the prevention of an $8M loss. Wrote and operationalized an automated audit system that checked every shipment against CVS returns policy, replacing a manual spot-check audit system that could only verify specific criteria on an irregular basis.

Manage relationships and conduct negotiations with a global chain of suppliers for a large manufacturing facility. Oversee a multi-million dollar monthly budget and all raw material and tooling inventories. Additionally, manage all in house tooling production.In first 60 days, planned and executed a cost reduction plan by leveraging alternate suppliers, achieving over 6% in annual cost savings. Began shifting inventory and ordering system to adhere to scientific inventory management principles, using an ERP system to optimize inventory levels. Worked with third party vendor to begin integrating SQL database usage into the company's inventory management system. I conduct regular negotiations with raw material and manufacturing equipment suppliers to ensure costs are under market benchmarks.

Consistently produced 5-10% over goal at the flagship production facility of a global automotive parts manufacturer. Managed department leads and 40 production employees.Led a cross-functional team of mechanical engineers, operations personnel, and quality engineers, managing projects with the goal of transitioning into a lean manufacturer in accordance with six sigma principles.

Assisted in planning and resourcing battalion level operations for a Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition Squadron in the 10th Mountain Division. Worked closely with Squadron intelligence and planned the Squadron's lethal and nonlethal targeting cycles while deployed to Kandahar Province, Afghanistan. Also served as the Targeting Officer and Squadron Safety Officer: worked with OSHA officials while in New York to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and conducted risk assessments for all live fire training.

Led a 27 man maneuver platoon in Zhari District, Kandahar Province. Planned, resourced, and executed over 150 dismounted patrols in a volatile district during the end of the surge. Integrated a squad from the Afghan National Army in all operations and worked closely with locals to gather intelligence and establish governance. Concurrently served as the logistics officer for a unit of 100 personnel: ordered and ensured transportation of millions of dollars worth of equipment and supplies.
