Job purpose: To establish and lead the Logistics Planning function within Alshaya. By working closely with all 55+ brand teams in Alshaya to understand their requirements from Logistics. Effectively communicate these requirements to the Logistics Functions in all markets, tracking performance and reporting back to the business.Reporting to; Reports: 6 staff Set up a Logistics Planning Function from scratch, building strong relationships with all brands within Alshaya and developed standard operating proceduresDeveloped and implemented a standard forecasting and reporting process across Alshaya business Developed and implemented a complete set of key performance reports that measure the Logistic divisions performance, both operational and financialDevelop an IT database to handle all Logistics data and reporting requirements - a database that will enable us to go beyond current reporting in Excel and allow us to cope with the data requirements of any number of new brands / new marketsProject managed all key business events to enable the Logistics division to deliver excellent service to the business during peak trading periods. E.g Ramandan, Mid and End of Season sales, New Mall Openings, New market entry planningEstablished the reporting in the Middle East then rolled out reporting process

Supply Chain Manager for the Tesco Food Interantional Buying Office. Development of Supply Chain Strategy to deliver range of 2,500 own label products to the Tesco business in Central Europe. Appointment of 3rd Party Logistics providers to support delivery of products across our business in Central Europe. Managing a team of four people both in the UK and Central Europe.
