As a senior partner at Gersowitz, Libo & Korek, P.C., Jeff S. Korek handles personal injury cases, including birth injuries, brain injuries, sexual abuse, slip and falls, premises accidents, car and truck accidents, construction accidents, products liability and medical malpractice. While representing the people of the New York City, New York, metropolitan area, he previously served on the Best Lawyers Advisory Board and was included in the list of The Best Lawyers in America.At the State University of New York at Binghamton, Mr. Korek earned a Bachelor of Arts before moving on to law school. He then attended the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he earned his Juris Doctor. In 2020 he was named Lawyer of the Year in Medical Malpractice Law by the Best Lawyers of America and was inducted into the Trial Lawyers Honorary Society in 2018 by the Litigation Counsel of America.Mr. Korek works with Court Television Network as a Television Commentator, as an instructor at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, and a regular guest lecturer and instructor for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. Along with the state courts in California and New Jersey, he is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the United States Supreme Court.A member of the New York State Bar Association, Mr. Korek is also actively involved with the New Jersey State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. On a community service level, he works with The Gardiner Foundation and Hoops 4 Hope.
