Product director for deal ranking algorithms and relevance across all of our platforms (email, web, mobile), for all channels/business (Local, Groupon Goods, Live, Groupon Getaways) in North America. I also owned the relationship with our business line and executive leadership. I was the product and analytics lead for the development and launch of an entirely new relevance platform, and have spent the past year extending its reach to new platforms and applications, and developing new ranking features to better match the right deals to the right users. Our primary focus has been advanced personalization for the local and Groupon Goods businesses. My team of product managers is obsessed with using data and hardcore analytics to prioritize features, make launch decisions, and further tune our ranking algorithms. I still love to get knee-deep myself in SQL and Hive to find the data, and use tools like Tableau time make sense of the data and tell the story to the engineers building the features and Groupon executive leadership alike.
