As the lead pastor my responsibilities include preaching, identifying and casting vision for the direction of the church, leading a team of paid and volunteer leaders, overseeing day to day operations, and working toward the overall health of the congregation.

I lead The Exchange student ministry (grades 6-12) at Movement Church. My responsibilities primarily include writing and preaching sermons, organizing and leading volunteers, and planning and organizing events.

My freelance career has allowed me to write in a wide variety of styles on a wide variety of subjects. I've created books, articles for a humor website, web content for a ministry, a cover letter for a resume, and more. I'm versatile and work hard to understand my clients' needs.

FaithNerd.com is a place where I share what God has been teaching me. It is a place for me to tell stories and share principles that have opened my eyes and changed my life, with the hope that it will have the same impact on others.

I covered U.S. as well as Church and Ministries news for CP. An article series I wrote on church planting for the publication received second place honors in the Evangelical Press Association's 2013 Higher Goals Awards.

I wrote a wide variety of articles for The Suburbanite, a local newspaper whose coverage extends into two counties and several communities. I have written on sports, business features, local authors, and more for this publication.

During my time with Upright Publishing I wrote web content, articles, author biographies, reviews, and video scripts for various projects.
