Joined Actors Equity in 1971 and did not return to college as I was emploYed professionally. Propapbly the wrong choice. Moved to NJ and needed a car so I began to wait tables which lasted 6 years resulting in a fine 3 star restaurant. Needed to know wine so I bought books and learned myself and next thing you know I was the wine guy. Became GM and Maitre D of a super elegant new venture for which I hired and trained the front staff and served as SOM for the wine list I created. Much consulting and management in service and wine until in 1994 I was recruited into a young small first rate wine company (Skurnik)... Grew from sales to NJ manager and finally Vice President Director of Sales and Marketing. 12 years later I had reason to leave and managed NJ for Martin Scott and now in the years prior to retirement I sell Victor Schwartz's excellent portfolio.retired in 2016
