I am responsible for the design, assembly, testing and documentation of custom configured robotics systems. Working in Solidworks, I design custom mechanical components and payload mounting solutions. These designs are used for one-off and volume production. I work with payload data sheets to determine an optimal electrical systems architecture, often specifying and ordering the parts needed. With all the custom components on hand, it's also my responsibility to assemble them into a robust and reliable robotics solution. Throughout the process I document my design for future re-use, or customer reference.In addition to my design and assembly responsibilities, I interface directly with sales, application engineering, and customer support. Drawing on my years of experience, I consult and provide support to these other teams by providing fast and knowledgeable answers. I provide service to customers in the field, upgrading or repairing our robotics platforms on-site.

Testing of microwave waveguide assemblies.

Testing of assembled printed circuit boards and modular systems. Troubleshooting and repairs. Development of "bed-of-nails" test fixtures for new products. Development of test setups for in-house and customer use. Certified X-ray inspection technician and X-ray safety officer.
