Jeff Schultz has been involved in the film production and music recording industries for over 30 years. Credits include key creative and production positions with titles mounted by Paramount Pictures, MGM/UA, CBS, ABC, NBC and PBS. As a critically acclaimed filmmaker, Jeff is credited for key creative roles in four feature film productions and many television projects. Some of his television credits include MacGyver, 21 Jump Street, Night Heat, Street Legal, Emergency Room, Operation Watchdog, Lies from Lotus Land and Love is Never Silent. Worldwide feature film distribution and festival circuit appearances for Buying Time, Matinee, The Stepfather and North of Pittsburgh consistently garnered critical acclaim. Most notable, North of Pittsburgh, was nominated for 7 Genie Awards including a Best Original Screenplay nomination for Jeff. Today, Jeff continues to develop original product for both television and film and always has a slate of projects on the go.A consummate artist, musician and technician, Jeff has mastery over a great deal of audio, video and computer production workflows. In the early 2000’s Jeff designed a 4000 square foot, state of the art 5.1 music and post-production facility where he produced music, music videos, and mixed broadcast television sometimes under the pseudonym pil.Recently Jeff has also had the privilege of teaching a variety of video and audio production courses at The British Columbia Institute of Technology, The University of British Columbia and most recently has signed on as a Rich Media Instructor in Simon Fraser University’s new Digital Communications Department.
