I spent the beginning of my career designing custom FPGA-based algorithms for image/speech processing as well as statistical models for wall-street trading firms. After transitioning from FPGA design into product design for electron microscopes I had the opportunity to serve as the primary engineer on a project to migrate operations from a factory in the US to a larger facility in the Czech Republic. In 2016 I returned to the US to facilitate the growth of our Beam Technology Division located in Portland, Oregon. Having spent many amazing years in Beam Technology I accepted a new role to support all of the MSD sites within Thermo Fisher Scientific, first through our Product Lifecycle Management team and currently with the Operations Transformation Office Specialties: Project Management, Electron microscopy theory, X-ray spectrography, FPGA design, Signal Processing, Speech Recognition, image processing, high-throughput algorithm development
