Responsible for construction inspection of multiple municipal infrastructure projects in various townships within York Region and the County of Simcoe including road re-construction. Duties included full time inspection of all underground infrastructure installation. Monitoring and documentation of sanitary (gravity/forcemain), storm and watermain service installations, grading operations and landscaping. Responsible for addressing concerns and technical inquiries from local businesses and residents. Currently working in the Township of King and the Town of Newmarket as the town liaison for inspection of residential construction projects.

Responsible for the tendering process for the majority of the sub-trades for a 43 story commercial tower in downtown Toronto. Tendering process included preparation of tender documents, conducting bidder review meetings, reviewing tender submissions and selection of successful bidders. Other responsibilities included change order management consisting of detailed reviews of sub-trades submission, and negotiating of quotations. Frequent interaction with site staff to review change notices and possible cost implications. Performed mandatory safety inspections.

Responsible for tender preparation and contract administration through to final acceptance for numerous commercial projects. Contract administration responsibilities include communicating on a daily basis with various clients and contractors, community liaison with adjacent landowners, town engineering staff and approval agencies. Construction administration responsibilities include monitoring of grading operations, sanitary, storm and watermain service installations, electrical and landscaping. Other responsibilities during construction include all financial tracking, payment and contract change order negotiations and certificate approvals.

Responsible for contract preparation; financial tracking; payment negotiation and certifications with contractors; on site quality control and certifications; drawing reviews; and cost estimates for commercial land development civil infrastructure (new multi-tenant big box, mall retrofits etc.).
