EMPLOYMENT SUMMARY:Over 40 years of diversified technical leadership and management experience in the fields of Enironmental Geology, Hydrogeology and Environmental Protection, with emphasis on the development and implementation of innovative cost-effective solutions for environmental-related issues, RCRA Subtitle C and Subtitle D permitting and regulatory compliance, management of CERCLA projects, direction of subsurface geologic/hydrogeologic site characterization investigations and three-dimensional conceptual site model development, contaminant source characterization, alternative source demonstrations, environmental remediation, greenfield and brownfield landfill development, management and protection of surface water and groundwater resources, environmental due diligence for the acquisition of prospective and active landfill properties, development of technical standards and guidance, regulatory negotiations, environmental litigation technical support and liability reduction/avoidance, financial support for rate workbook cost forecasting, and detection, assessment and abatement groundwater monitoring well network design and optimization. Career experience has been primarly with the Solid Waste Management and Mining Industry. SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Reponsible for savings of more than $150MM through implementation of cost avoidance/cost reduction strategies.Instrumental in successfully obtaining landfill permits for over 450MM BCY's (bank cubic yards) of landfill airspace in the Mid-Atlantic and New England States.Recipient of a Waste Management Outstanding Achievement Award, along with multiple Special Recognition Awards for Landfill Expansion Permitting.
