Naval Aviation veteran with 15 years of experience bringing products from the lab to the real world. I have led teams across the product lifecycle from early research and technology development through testing, launch, and sustained operations. Strategic perspective combined with a technical background allow me to effectively lead across strategy, operations, and engineering teams at any level of an organization.Living in the midst of technological advances that can make the world safer and healthier for future generations excites me. My passion for sustainability started with my love of spending time on the ocean and in the mountains. I added knowledge to that passion by studying engineering and business with an emphasis on environmentally friendly technology and energy markets. I enjoy working at the intersection of the public and private sectors on sustainability and defense problems, and am always interested in learning about new developments in these areas. My first professional leadership experiences were as the Mission Commander of an 11-person combat aircrew working with advanced airborne sensors over Iraq and the Western Pacific. I have continued to mature that skillset while managing cross-functional teams testing new aircraft and sensors, developing data analysis and communications systems, ensuring the safety of commercial drone delivery, and most recently- setting out to decarbonize aviation.
