CurrentEnvironmental Consultant specialising in energy efficiency. My clients come to me with a variety of needs mainly including:* Finding ways to reduce rising energy costs* Improve energy efficiency and overall productivity* Manage resources more effectively* Improve Environmental PositioningThese needs are often catalysed by a rising tide of increased cost of borrowing, increased cost of utility bills, environmental performance pressures and legal and regulatory compliance. My experience as an Environmental Consultant and previously as Industrial Engineering has allowed me to work in a broad cross-section of businesses including: Manufacturing, Hotel and Leisure, Theatre and Entertainment, Food and Drink both production and preparation, Packaging and Retail.I have worked within and consulted for: The Body Shop International, Investec Bank, Thompson, Global Action Plan, Alco Howmet, North Devon Theatres, North Devon Homes, Potter and Moore. My approach and delivery is totally dependent on the individual clients’ needs but has typically involved: * General environmental auditing assessments* Detailed energy audits* Waste assessments* Carbon foot-printing* Transport and travel plans* Legal compliance. Initial assessments are often followed by detailed reports or presentations back to the clients’ key decision makers. These often contain critical information regarding the position and performance of the business, along with recommendations for improvement and savings. My role may then be to work further with the client in whatever way necessary to implement the changes required. This may include: * Delivery of key awareness and training needs* Introducing key suppliers of specialist equipment* Working with other organisations to deliver change or* Initiating further more detailed study
