About Jeff Shepherd

A purpose driven and servant leader blessed to have served Fortune 50 and disruptive growth startup companies in the Medical Device & Technology sector. I grew up in a sports family. My dad and uncle were Indiana Mr. Basketball’s and my grandfather and brother were Indiana All Stars. We all played basketball on scholarship in college and learned the values of hard work and teamwork in accomplishing goals. Family and basketball connected me to a personal friendship with the late Coach John Wooden. His definition of success, pyramid of success, and the way he walked and talked have been guiding forces in my life both personally and professionally. Today I serve as the Chief Commercial Officer for Nanovis. We are an innovation technology company that develops and commercializes bone growth nanotechnology surfaces that make spinal, dental, and orthopedic implants perform better in the body, ultimately healing patients faster and stronger. Our nanoVIS Ti Surface Technology has been granted nanotechnology designation from the FDA and over 15,000 have been implanted in patients with no adverse events in the Maude database. We are actively looking for Spine, Orthopedic, and Dental companies to license the surface to improve the clinical and commercial performance of their implants. www.nanovistechnology.com
