PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE: Since joining Savills Studley’s Washington, DC office in 1975, Jeff has negotiated over 15 million square feet of real estate transactions on behalf of corporations, trade associations, not-for-profit organizations, and law firms throughout the United States. He specializes in transactions relating to the acquisition, development and leasing of commercial real estate and has been involved in some of the Washington DC metropolitan area’s most prestigious projects and complex assignments.ACTIVITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS:For more than 40 years, Jeff has earned the reputation of being an award-winning negotiator on behalf of his clients. Recently the Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association of Greater Washington, DC recognized Jeff as the #1 Private Sector Leasing Agent for Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. During this time, Jeff restructured 475,000 square feet of leases while disposing of approximately 220,000 square feet.His accomplishments have been recognized by his peers, having received the Board of Realtors’ prestigious “Transaction of the Year” award on three separate occasions. His ability to think creatively, effectively analyze his clients’ needs and negotiate tenaciously on their behalf continues to keep him at the top of the association’s annual list of top brokers in the Washington, DC area. Jeff received the “Transaction of the Year” award for assisting Hogan Lovells LLP with a 250,000 square foot headquarters relocation. He also received the award for his creative early lease restructure of 117,000 square feet for the New York based law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, LLP, and again received this prestigious award for his 337,000 square foot lease restructure, expansion and renewal for FHI 360 (formerly the Academy for Educational Development, Inc.).
