Senior Manager, Contracts
CurrentSenior Manager of Contracts currently responsible for multi-million dollar military networking / radar and radio waveform programs. Also worked multi-million dollar communications projects which was structured with three major customers. Experience also includes supporting/negotiating international contracting efforts with both Japan MOD and UK RAF customersResponsibilities include but are not limited to:- Supporting Contracts Director with two (2) direct reports. This Includes overseeing the team’s contracts efforts and providing direct assistance in resolving issues as they arise. Also includes providing guidance to grow their abilities as they achieve the goals set by the Business Area’s Leadership Team- Interpret contractual documents with working knowledge of FAR & DFAR- Serves as the primary contact between customers and company during all contractual activities- Reviews customer terms and conditions received with Requests for Quotation- Identifies exceptions to corporate policy or items of concern, works with internal teams to examine proposal regarding material, services, performance requirements, delivery schedules, and price to insure completeness and accuracy- Creation, review, and submission of proposals, fact finding support, and negotiations with customers- Direct contact with both A/P and A/R personnel to ensure on-time invoicing and payment receipt
