My primary responsibility as the Therapeutic Specialist was to increase education and awareness for Sickle Cell Disease, and to promote Oxbryta to Hematology & Oncology Specialists. I also promoted Oxbryta to a select few PCPs, as well as to Pediatricians. My territory was all of Alabama, and North Mississippi. I won President’s Club in 2020.

In my final role at Gilead, as an Executive Community Specialist, I primarily covered three states: Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi. I worked with ACOs, IDNs, Addiction Medicine Associations, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Gastroenterologists, Infectious Disease Physicians, and both State and Local Health Departments to identify and treat patients with Hepatitis C. This included work to improve screening initiatives, as well as stream lining efforts in linkage to care to providers for treatment. I won President’s Club in 2016, Director’s Award in 2017, and Director’s Award in 2018. I also served as Central Region Trainer in 2017 and 2018.

As an Executive Institutional Specialist, my primary responsibility was selling Ranexa within the Institutional Setting and to the larger Decile Cardiologists in North Alabama and North Georgia. I earned President’s Club in 2012.

During my time at Janssen, I worked a variety of territories, promoting a total of 13 products, in North Alabama. I called on Primary Care physicians, as well as Orthopedic Surgeons, Gastroenterologists, Pain Medicine Specialists, General Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, Neurologists, and Ear Nose and Throat Specialists.I earned President’s Club in 2009 and 2010.
