An experienced Environmental Specialist with 25 years in various environmental media. Currently serving as an Environmental Protection Specialist in the Water Management Branch at Fort Liberty, NC. Previous experience includes working several different environmental contracts at Fort Bragg, Pope Air Force Base and Simmons Army Airfield since December 1999. During that time, under several different contracts, roles have included Hazardous Waste Technician, Environmental Compliance Assessor/Inspector/Trainer, Aerospace NESHAP lead, Airfield EHS contract lead, Air Quality Program Support, Pollution Prevention SME and Solid Waste and Recycling contract lead. Certifications include RCRA, DOT shipping, 40-hour HAZWOPER, respiratory fit testing, HAZCOM trainer, fall protection, forklift operation and previous SWANA certification in composting operations and recycling systems. I possess working knowledge of EPCRA, UST removal, environmental sampling, remediation and UST closure.
