I have been making custom jewelry since 1987. I started as a helper in a small trade shop polishing rings and cleaning up. Since it was a small shop I was immediately exposed to the complete manufacturing process- and I loved it! I was working on waxes, vulcanizing rubber molds, prepping flasks for casting and I could not devour enough information. From the moment I first sat at the bench, I resolved I would only do quality work. The first year was just the beginning of my quest to learn everything I needed to do the highest quality work possible and I still walk that path today. I read the quote, "Life is a journey, not a destination", many years ago and the words always stayed with me. However, I did not fully understand the meaning until I started working at the bench, bridging the gap between learning and doing. The fee for this trip is time. I have worked diligently for over twenty years and my best work is always my next piece.I have had the privilege of working with many talented craftsmen and have been fortunate to study with European and American masters. My calloused hands share the wisdom and skill that have been passed through generations . I am a link in a chain forged through time connecting the past to the future.
