Responsible for Year 2000 compliance Computer, Life Safety, HVAC, Educational, Transportation, Communication systems as well as Disaster Recovery, Documentation, Contingency Planning in the event of total or partial system/infrastructure failure beginning 1/1/2000. • RISD did not experience any outages or inability to teach their students after January 1, 2000. Program was delivered on time and 23% under budget. • Managed the creation, development and evaluation processes required to allow RISD to select a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Gathered existing and new system requirements, created a Request for Proposal (RFP) document and distributed to vendors. Evaluated responses, mapped requirements to proposed systems, created system comparison matrices for RISD evaluation, coordinated vendor system demonstrations and final vendor selection. Led contract negotiations for RISD with system implementer/vendor. Established work groups and team members to implement new system.
