If you look at my professional experience in the healthcare industry, starting with my initial role at Pfizer, leading to the formation of my own medical sales consulting company, Paramount Medical Consultants, then to hematology/oncology and now finally finding my passion in pediatric rare disease with Alexion, it’s easy to see my genuine interest in contributing to the quality of life of others. Twenty five years of marriage to a wonderful and supportive wife, and watching my 5 children grow and prosper, have only intensified my personal, and professional passion for disease prevention and a healthy lifestyle and well-being. I try to achieve a personal balance in my life by maintaining physical fitness, a healthy diet, and self-discipline. Yes, I make my living selling a treatment for rare disease and consulting those who treat individuals with a variety of healthcare needs, some quite serious and life threatening. But, if my efforts can make a difference in improving the lives of others, I can’t think of greater validation of my chosen profession.
