Jeff has broad strategic experience in non-profit management and development. He recently started a new role as the Manager of Personal Giving at Leader Dogs for the Blind. Prior to this role he led the operational team at Leader Dogs for the Blind for over 11 years. During his operational tenure, he led the successful $14.5 million renovation of the canine development center. Aligning operational processes with engaged organizational stakeholders. Prior to coming to Leader Dog, Jeff was a store manager at Home Depot. He successfully managed stores in Midland, MI; Saginaw, MI; Bangor, ME; Ellsworth, ME and Rockland, ME. While owning responsibility for each store he also successfully developed and completed the inaugural Home Depot, Store Manager Development Program. Before and while working at Home Depot he owned and operated the Frost House Bed and Breakfast in Belfast, ME, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and love to provide first class customer service to his guests.Jeff graduated from Western Michigan University, Haworth College of Business with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He has also successfully completed certifications for "Serving on a Nonprofit Board" education through BoardSource and NonProfit Spot, and "High Impact Presentations" through Dale Carnegie Training. Expertise in: Nonprofit leadership, strategic planning, process improvement, program management, revenue generation, governance, budget development, volunteer management, capital campaign, donor relations, and P&I management.
