I was involved in two primary stages of projekt202's origin and growth. As of June 2023, projekt202 is now branded as Stellar Elements within Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX).2003 - 2011 I founded projekt202, LP in July of 2003 along with my business partner Peter Eckert because we believed great design could make the world a better place. Peter handled the creative direction of projekt202 and I owned the company's operations, business development and client services. We grew the company from scratch to about 35 FTE's and nearly $6M a year in revenue. Along that journey we won numerous awards as not only a highly profitable and fast growing company, but a best place to work. Our clients spanned every industry vertical and included numerous Fortune 100 entities. Our very early emphasis on design research and user-centered design was a staple of our success and of the award-winning software we created for our clients. In 2011 I guided the company through a successful M&A to greatly accelerate it's growth and expand our service offerings to include additional front-end services as well as back-end application development and digital marketing. 2012 - 2014 My primary responsibility post M&A was to help integrate projekt202's Austin foundation with our new Dallas office. This integration included infrastructure, business processes, and culture. My efforts then shifted to the rapid growth of projekt202, LLC as a whole, which included the creation of a Seattle office and company-wide revenue of $20M+ by the end of 2014.

I was hired into frog design as their most senior project manager responsible for leading up large-scale user experience design efforts for major software and technology companies. I had dual responsibilities. I worked with frog's executive and creative leadership staff to establish and enforce a project management methodology that allowed creative staff to deliver amazing work while still realizing profitable engagements. From a project execution perspective, I lead the account management of very large and strategic efforts for companies such as SAP, i2 Technologies, and TI. I left frog to start projekt202, LP in July of 2003.

I joined Accenture (then Andersen Consulting) in May 1993 after graduating college and spent nearly 8 years with them, leaving as a Senior Manager in November of 2000. During my time with Accenture I worked in both the private sector (with clients such as US Airways) and the public sector (with federal agencies such as USPS and state agencies in Missouri and Texas). Part of my time was spent in Manila in the Philippines where I lived for 6 months and lead an offshore development team.My systems integration experience included designing, programming, and managing teams. I personally worked on all phases of the software lifecycle from early customer / product requirements, to design, development, testing, and product release. I left Accenture to apply my systems integration experience to digital design endeavors for frog design.
