I am an experienced Chief Engineer, an expert at managing marine operations and refurbishment/upgrade projects for vessel owners, including maintenance of propulsion equipment, deck machinery and saturation diving systems to support offshore oil, gas and energy projects. I manage the efficient operation and maintenance of pipelay vessels and dive support vessels. I confidently oversee all plant and equipment maintenance to ensure safety, anti-pollution legislation and company regulations are met. Furthermore, I prepare and maintain records and reports of mechanical issues to ensure vessel systems are fully operational. I am highly experienced in planning / supervising major refits and compiling dry-dock technical reports. I also monitor the consumption of critical spares and materials to ensure onboard stock levels are maintained. During my career, I have worked with many top tier organisations such as Sealion, Maersk Tankers & BT Tankers. My achievements to date include: 👉 Sealion - Toisa Perseus: Oversaw complete overhaul and fitting of portable 16-man saturation dive system for the conversion of the Toisa Perseus pipelay vessel to a dive support vessel. 👉 Sealion - Toisa Perseus DSV: Planned and delivered 15-year special dry dock overhaul project, and returned vessel to working service within 5 weeks and commended on HSSE performance.👉 Sealion - Amazonia: Managed vessel upgrades whilst in dry dock, Rio, Brazil and completed sea trials within agreed 62-days, returning vessel to service without penalties.
