After college I moved into a career in management. I successfully led multiple teams in the restaurant, retail, and banking industries. Skills that I developed over my management career include communication, leadership, problem solving, and organization. My passion was always in teaching and developing my teams. I was able to guide several of my employees to move up through the company and were able to excel. I got the most joy out of seeing their success.I've decided to make that my full-time pursuit and become a teacher. I want to do what I enjoy the most on a daily basis. By utilizing my degree in History and my experience as a manager, I will be able to make an impact on students that will go beyond learning dates and facts.
