Diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operation. Working closely with other crew members, including engineers and other frac hands, to coordinate operations and respond to on-site demands. Assisting in the training and development of new team members. Monitoring equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely. Setting up and dismantling the equipment needed for fracturing operations. This includes assembling pipes, valves, and other mechanical parts. Manually operating valves and controls to regulate the flow of fluids and manage pressures during the fracturing process. Conducting visual inspections of equipment and site conditions to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Reporting any anomalies or safety hazards to supervisors. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and analytics techniques. Enhancing proficiency in software tools and programming languages like SQL, Python, and R. Preparing raw data for analysis. Cleaning data to remove inaccuracies and preparing it by correcting any inconsistencies to ensure quality analysis. Reading Excel files and PDFs into python and converting into a data frame to be imported into SQL. Creating graphical representations of data using Power BI. Designing dashboards and reports that clearly illustrate the findings. Ensuring sensitive data is managed in accordance with data privacy and security policies to protect information.
