Jeff Strassman is the Boston Market Managing Partner, Partner in the audit practice of Grant Thornton LLP and a Principal of Grant Thornton Advisors LLC. As Boston Market Managing Partner, Jeff relies on his wealth of industry knowledge and client service experience to help audit, tax and advisory professionals throughout Grant Thornton's Boston market deliver high-quality, personalized services. He was previously the firm's Manufacturing and Distribution industry leader in Boston and also led a number of operational and people-focused initiatives. Jeff continues to serve as the Key Relationship Leader for a number of Grant Thornton's global clients and private equity groups. Jeff's extensive client service experience ranges from family-owned and private equity-backed companies to multi-national SEC registrants across a number of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, life science, healthcare and services. Jeff's broad experience also includes IPOs and secondary offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and operational and financial process/control improvements. He also previously served in Grant Thornton's professional standards group and as a member of its national revenue recognition team where he developed and presented whitepapers, trainings and seminars on the technical and operational impacts of ASC 606 (revenue recognition). In this role Jeff also advised companies on the implementation of the standard.
