I’m 52 years old and I started my sobriety, fitness, and nutrition journey One year ago this week, I woke up with a gnarly hangover from drinking way too much the night before. I said to myself, "Self, it's time for a change. What are you doing with your life? It's time to step it up and start taking better care of your health." From that moment, I decided to quit drinking. After drinking on and off for the last 30 years, and heavily throughout my 40s, it was time for a change. That same week, I completely overhauled my diet and started to workout consistently at first hitting my workouts hard 6-7 days a week. Now I’m doing about 4-5 days a week and brisk walking daily. In doing this I really felt my body changing and getting stronger in the first 3 months and by 6 months I was a completely different man. Obviously results will vary depending on how hard you hit your workouts and how well you eat but was sick and tired so it went at it hard. I’m living proof that it can be done naturally NO TRT. I went from eating unhealthy foods to adopting what I now call my "eating lifestyle," which focuses on quality whole foods with an emphasis on high protein. I’m all about my health now at this point of my life and yes it feels great to feel good with my shirt off but my main motivation is my over all health. I have honestly never felt better in my life. I look forward to many more years to spend with my wife, my daughters, and hopefully someday, my grandchildren. I completely believe in my heart that if I can flip the switch and make this change, anyone can. With that being said, I was able to develop a fitness and nutrition app based on my workout routine and my fitness experience from my 30s. In the past year, I also became NASM certified. Through my app and the way I eat and work out, I believe that if you follow my plan, you could get in amazing shape in less than six months and start to feel strong in just three months, like I did. Please check out my app. It's free for one week, and the link is in my bio.
