I also have experience in the following required responsibilities: •Coordinate & execute tow orders with Central Dispatch•Command vessel to configure tows and transport freight.•Maintains vessel's navigational log pursuant to marine regulations.•Supervise crew performance and job responsibilities such as tow configurations, maintenance of vessel, and other operational concerns related to every day operations.•Assign, responsibly direct, discipline, and resolve concerns of all crew.•Conduct semi-annual and annual crew performance evaluations.•Ensure that each crew member participates in drills and receives instruction at least once each month.•Carry out duties assigned under the Vessel Security Plan as the vessel security officer.•Ensure that the vessel is in regulatory compliance.•Work a 12 hour schedule rotating between day and night shifts.
