I am a full-stack engineer and musician hailing from Brooklyn, NY and originally from Denver, CO. I was born in Calgary, Canada and have since been privileged to call myself a citizen of both the US and Canada. My story as a software engineer and musician began when I started at the University of Colorado Denver as an audio engineering student and music business major in 2013. There, I honed my craft of music performance and composition, and found a new passion for audio engineering as well as software development. It was after producing my first audio engineering projects as well as some extra-curricular web dev projects that made me realize that both engage me in the same way as they are both right-brained mathematical modes of creativity. My formal software engineering journey began when I developed and maintained a website for my music using basic web development skills such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. I decided to pursue this interest full on and enrolled in The Flatiron School for full-stack software engineering in 2021. Fortunately, my journey did not end there, and I have since met the most awesome software developers, musicians, creatives, and all-around like-minded people, and have had the privilege of working on many fun and engaging projects in both tech and music.
