About Jeff Thoroughman

After nearly thirty years as a successful teacher in the challenging field of public education, I plan to retire from the Georgia public schools in March, 2019 and either continue teaching or training in some capacity or transition to another field of interest where I can apply my skills. In my career, I have had the opportunity to instruct students at various levels and socio-economic and cultural backgrounds in both the general education and special education settings. Throughout my career, I have developed extensive knowledge and experience in implementing curriculum, differentiating instruction, and accommodating students’ needs on a continuing basis. I believe that the organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required in the course of my years in education, have prepared me well for future opportunities which I am ready to explore.
