Benefits Manager
CurrentResponsible for developing, managing, evaluating and improving all benefit and retirement programs offered to 2200 employees across 7 states.• Monitor and interpret federal, state and local regulations to ensure continued compliance. This includes ACA, HIPAA, COBRA and the DOL.• Manage annual 401(k) audit, 401(k) non-discrimination testing, submit Form 5500 for the appropriate plans and complete accurate and timely 1095-C submissions for ACA.• Manage the annual open enrollment cycle including renewal negotiations and traveling to field locations to conduct in person enrollment meetings for offsite workforce.• Manage all LOA processes by working closely with internal payroll and external LOA vendors.• Saved an estimated $900k annually by moving specialty medications to a managed care provider
