How many people can say a career-ending sports injury catapulted them to where they are today? I had two choices – to stay the course, rehabilitate a major injury and battle for a roster spot in the different levels of professional hockey, or, use the skill set that I had learned growing up on a family farm while also competing as a top level athlete and forge a new path. I chose the latter. Faced with starting over, I dove into my career and over the past several years, have been able to do what takes most a lifetime to accomplish. As CEO & President, I work with a great team to oversee two sperate businesses in the fabrication industry. Daily, we push the envelope to carve out a new future for the businesses, while ensuring the value proposition remains at a high level.Many athletes are great strategists, and I am no exception. I have a unique skill for seeing a vision and helping the team to lay out a plan for execution. AMG Metals & Polefab are two great companies with an entrepreneurial spirit, and our team works together to identify areas of improvement and growth. I am honored to work with an amazing team at AMG Metals & Polefab, and together we assess solutions, strategize growth, and collaborate on innovative projects and expansions that are meaningful and impactful for generations to come.
