How many people can say a career-ending sports injury catapulted them to where they are today? I had two choices – to stay the course, rehabilitate a major injury and battle for a roster spot in the different levels of professional hockey, or, use the skill set that I had learned growing up on a family farm while also competing as a top level athlete and forge a new path. I chose the latter. Faced with starting over, I dove into my career and over the past several years, have been able to do what takes most a lifetime to accomplish. As CEO & President, I work with a great team to oversee two sperate businesses in the fabrication industry. Daily, we push the envelope to carve out a new future for the businesses, while ensuring the value proposition remains at a high level.Many athletes are great strategists, and I am no exception. I have a unique skill for seeing a vision and helping the team to lay out a plan for execution. AMG Metals & Polefab are two great companies with an entrepreneurial spirit, and our team works together to identify areas of improvement and growth. I am honored to work with an amazing team at AMG Metals & Polefab, and together we assess solutions, strategize growth, and collaborate on innovative projects and expansions that are meaningful and impactful for generations to come. As we look to expand, I’d love to connect with others who are energetic and hungry to grow their careers in this exciting industry.
