Responsible for daily level 2 support for BPM application ‘GFS’ which is used internationally and has many interfaces. This includes but is not limited to; issue research/resolution, root cause analysis using SQL database queries via Toad (and/or other tools) to address LOB requests/concerns, mass updates, workarounds, working with interfacing system contacts, project support, application testing, disaster recovery planning/support, analyzing logs/xml/data inputs and outputs/failed batches, and ongoing metrics reports maintenance and development (Excel charts and on-the-fly data extracts), enhancement/defect logging, tracking, testing, testing requirements, defect tracking/research and issue assignment.

Responsible for daily level 2 application support for a complex underwriting system 'Magellan' since its inception 11 years prior. This includes but is not limited to; issue research/resolution, Oracle database updates via Toad to address LOB requests, mass updates, and workarounds, On-call tier 2 issue resolution, project support/lead, process improvement, testing and DB reports development (both Actuate and ad-hoc data extracts), enhancement/defect testing, testing requirements, test plans/script creation, defect/enhancement tracking and research and issue assignment.

-Business Applications SME, On call tier 2/3 support. Evaluate new technology in a test environment prior to implementing into production. Develop and plan strategies for future product implementation. Act as Appro application support to approx. 100 users, to include SQL troubleshooting and if needed act as vendor liaison for external resolutions. Administer general maintenance configuration and/or changes to existing Production and Test systems. Crystal Report Administration, Supervise 2 Product Test Staff/students, Set-up/Manage Test Lab. Plan and perform Y2K testing on departmental applications and all of their counter-parts. LAN Administration on 2 servers (prior to departmental out-source agreement).
