About Jeff Weinfeld

I am currently a Development Engineer at Optimized Gas Treating (OGT) Inc. In this role, I develop, implement, and test advanced mass-transfer based process models for ProTreat®, the industry's most advanced simulation tool for gas treating. These models are used in applications such as gas processing, carbon capture, and sulfer recovery.I received a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Rochester in 2016 and a PhD in chemical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2020. Through my PhD work, I have additional experience in lab-scale and pilot-plant experimentation and simulation in the areas of distillation, phase equilibria, chemical reaction, reactive distillation, and reactive dividing wall distillation.
