As as a team, we manage the GAJT anti-jam product line, the WAAS ground reference receivers, and customization of the NovAtel branded positioning products for the A&D markets. I am also accountable for Antenna engineering including Hexagon's Antcom entity.

Director, Chief Designer, DefenseIn this director level position, I have technical accountability for all Defense products within Hexagon Autonomy and Positioning including Antijam and Defense GNSS receiver products. I managed a team of System Engineers, SW Engineers, Antijam Specialists, and Export Compliance Specialists. We worked directly with Customers, Sales and Product Management to define product and technology road maps and drive the development of new products while sustaining current product lines. Our primary product line is GAJT antijam and development of new missile guidance capabilities. I held this role concurrent with the Engineering Director, Integrated Products role until April 2020 when my focus shifted entirely to growing our Defense business.

I managed a team that has technical accountability for all Agriculture, Defense and Enclosure/SPAN products with Hexagon Positioning Intelligence. We work directly with the Sales and Product Management teams to define product road maps, develop new products, and sustain the current product lines. My team was also accountable the System Engineering function within Hexagon Positioning Intelligence. Our products included the NovAtel family of SMART antennas, including SMART2 and SMART7, the PwrPak7 product line, and the GAJT product line.

This included the digital design, and integration of the RF and FPGA designs from contractors.• Designed and implemented the synchronization scheme between the L5 card and the L1/L2 card, including a major piece of the L5 FPGA design implemented in VHDL.• Supported the WAAS-GII project by creating hardware test plans, supervised the test plan execution, and supported the introduction into manufacturing.. Also specified the design changes for the revision 2 PCB releases and regression test plans.

Great Silicon Valley startup. I was one of the first engineers to join ONI which provided me with a great opportunity to learn and grow quickly in my profession. I was responsible for the Optical Service Channel and Ethernet Switch cards as well as the ESCON Multiplixer which multiplexed multiple channels of ESCON onto an OC-48 link. I designed our first PowerQUICC platform and helped debug our Power QUICC II platform.

I worked on the OC-48 and OC-192 platforms at Nortel. My responsibilities included DSP algorithm implementation for optical reflection detection and later FPGA development using Verilog.

• Designed a DS1/DS3 Forward Error Correction (FEC) demonstration unit entitled the FEC Codec. The FEC Codec was subjected to a successful, long term, demonstration at Telus.• Designed a real-time data acquisition system for the FEC Codec using LabVIEW for Windows.
