-Chief Executive Officer authorized to direct the business of the council as well as supervise all Scouting activities within the geographic jurisdiction of the Abraham Lincoln Council. -Work in partnership with the volunteer board and under the authority of Council Executive Board and report to the Council Board President. -Make sure council operates in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Boy Scouts of America, directly responsible for the employment and personnel actions of all council employees.-Direct an annual plan of action and provide leadership to the entire Abraham Lincoln Council which encompasses 3 districts spread across 9 counties in Central Illinois serving over 2,000 youth.-Give leadership to a staff of 7 Scouting Professionals and 2 Camp Property Caretakers-Maintain a working relationship with the President and Council Executive Board to effectively grow membership and raise the necessary funds to provide for a sustainable fiscal council, annually over a $1.2 million dollar operating budget and total of $16 million in net assets. -Lead the staff and volunteers in compliance with Boy Scouts of America policies including annual charter visits that are made to heads of Charter Partner Organizations to assure quality leadership and program.

-Direct an annual plan of action and provide leadership in each of the 12 districts and 4 outreach programs in 51 counties serving over 26,000 youth across Michigan through the professional team to assure quality service, membership growth, increased development and the attainment of yearly Journey to Excellence measurements.-Give direct leadership to a field staff of 20 Scouting Professionals, an Executive Adm. and indirectly numerous Support Staff Members -Maintain a working relationship with the Deputy Scout Executive of operations and the Scout Executive regarding compensation, promotion, transfers, and continuing professional training opportunities as to assure fair employment practices, professional growth, and recognition of performance in Unit Serving District Executives. -Lead the field staff and volunteers in compliance with Boy Scouts of America standards of membership; annual charter visits are made to heads of Charter Partner Organizations to assure quality leadership and program.-Give leadership and work in partnership with the Council Commissioner and the commissioner staff to ensure quality programs, effective roundtables, and on time annual registration.-Give leadership and work in partnership with the VP of Membership and membership committee to plan and implement year round recruitment and membership growth.Give leadership and work in partnership with the VP of District Operations and district chair's to achieve cohesive and functioning volunteer leadership teams in each of the 5 districts including the council team.-Responsible for the attainment of the Friends of Scouting Campaign; annually over a $900,000 campaign.-Responsible for the attainment of the Annual Popcorn Sale, a $2,900,000 campaign.-Responsible for the proper operations; income and expenses within the council's budget; annually over $4,000,000 budget.

-Oversee all aspects of the In-School, After-School & STEM Scouts divisions which covers our council's 26 counties in central Indiana serving over 12,500 youth in these areas.-Directly responsible for fiscal management of the After-School division, over $570,000 annual cost center within the council .-Directly responsible for fiscal management of the In-School division, over $250,000 annual cost center within the council.-Directly responsible for fiscal management of the STEM Scouts division, over $240,000 annual cost center within the council.-Directly responsible for the fiscal management of our Hispanic Outreach initiatives, over $150,000 annual cost center within the council .-Serve as Council Staff Advisor to the Friends of Scouting field service campaign, annually close to $700,000 fundraising campaign.-Directly responsible for creating new strategic partnerships that will grow our in-school, after-school & STEM Scouts programs.-Responsible for the recruitment of youth through school & community organization relationships as well as community events.-Responsible for giving leadership to 5 areas within the council . -Responsible for delivering a well-planned program, delivered by trained and quality program leaders with a strong outdoor program that will attract and retain more youth.-Responsible for identifying and successfully securing Grant and Foundational funding support for the 5 areas of leadership.-Give direct leadership to a professional staff of 7; (1) full time Senior District Executive, (1) full time Learning for Life Director, (3) full time District Executives, (2) full time STEM Scouts Executives and indirectly 50 part time program leaders.

-Responsible for the direct fundraising of over $300,000 annually.-Responsible for the recruitment of Volunteers to ensure that the Scouting program is carried out.-Directly responsible for the recruitment of youth through school relationships as well as community events.-Oversee all aspects of the district which includes 2 counties (Marion/Johnson, IN) with over 3,000 youth and 1,200 adult volunteers.-Give direct leadership to a full time District Executive-Council Advisor for Advancement Committee-oversee all aspects related to advancement in the Crossroads of America Council which serves over 35,000 youth and 10,000 adult volunteers over 26 counties in Central Indiana

-Responsible for the direct fundraising of over $175,000 annually. -Responsible for the recruitment of Volunteers to ensure that the Scouting program is carried out. -Directly responsible for the recruitment of youth through school relationships as well as community events. -Oversee all aspects of (2) districts which includes 2 counties (Miami/Shelby, OH) with over 1,600 youth and 600 adult volunteers.

-Responsible for the direct fundraising of over $80,000 annually. -Responsible for the recruitment of Volunteers to ensure that the Scouting program is carried out. -Directly responsible for the recruitment of youth through school relationships as well as community events. -Oversee all aspects of the district which covers all of Shelby County, Ohio with over 650 youth and 300 adult volunteers
