Strategic Account Manager, Applied Industrial Technologies, Inc.-Richmond, VA (August 2006-Present)-Responsible for searching out and negotiating new customer agreements -Manage existing national and international agreements with companies such as Alcoa, DuPont, Michelin, ATI Metals, Holcim Cement, and Buzzi Unicem USA. The assigned portfolio has totaled more than twenty agreements and target customers totaling over $58 million in sales.-Act as a liaison between the customer and Applied's corporate and site entities; assist Applied service centers, regional and area management in selling value of agreements to local customer facilities; keep customer advised of developments; handle complaints or customer service issues. Work with Applied corporate, branch and customer personnel to correct problems and meet customer needs of existing agreement and targeted customers.-Manage, select and negotiate with Applied authorized manufacturers to grow sales, enhance profitability and serve the customer. Examples of these manufacturers are: SKF, Goodyear, Rexnord, Timken. - Charged with building and maintaining a positive and synergistic relationship with existing national accounts insuring that the terms of the agreement are supported and followed.

Responsible for industry InSync marketing and sales program for sixty service centers on the east coast accounting for approximately $13.5 million in sales. Report directly to Area Vice President and VP-Sales to coordinate sales, marketing, training and product selection for coworkers and customers across seven regions. Participate in and coordinate national account presentations and implementation and maintenance with alliance customer companies such as Vulcan Materials and Lafarge. - Sales Growth- approximately $350k in fiscal 2000 to $13 million for Fiscal 2005- Liaison between Applied Industrial and Customer field personnel and management- Executed AIT corporate marketing program to the field.

-Charged with salvaging and maintaining high-profile national contract with key paper customer accounting for approximately $3 million in sales.-Lead four-person team including: inside customer sales/service, on-site person, warehouse and service center manager-Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with plant personnel from mill manager to maintenance group. Key departments include: Purchasing, Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, Power/Recovery, Storeroom/Warehouse, Woodyard, etc.
